Quality

Rigorous quality assurance has played a major part in Newly Weds Foods Limited success. We operate an ISO9001 Quality Management system, and employ a Total Quality Management approach across all areas of the business.

Precision measuring equipment ensures that carefully balanced flavours lose none of their subtlety. In some cases, volumes have to be accurate to the gram.

Over the last few years, we've invested significantly in our production resources. Our Ossett and Corby factories have both been custom built to meet the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

With effect from 21st June 2000, all genetically modified ingredients were eliminated from our sites. As a result, our products do not need to be labelled under EC Commission regulations 1139/98, 49/2000 or 50/2000.

With effect from 15th October 2001 all nuts and seeds have been eliminated from Newly Weds Foods Limited manufacturing sites.

Both our Ossett and Corby Manufacturing sites have achieved higher level certification to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) "Technical Standard for Companies Supplying Retailer Branded Food Products".
