About Us

Newly Weds® Foods is a leading privately owned global food ingredients business and has been innovating since 1932. The European division is a market leader in the manufacture of coatings, seasonings, functional ingredient systems and flavourings. Originally established in the UK via a joint venture with RHM in 1979, the headquarters is in Ossett, West Yorkshire.

In May 2002 Newly Weds® Foods acquired manufacturing sites at Ossett and Corby.

In June 2010, Newly Weds® Foods Europe purchased Witwood Food Products, adding another major breadcrumb and blending facility to its already extensive portfolio.

In May 2013, the acquisition of Phoenix Select Food Ingredients, a niche supplier of seasonings and coatings, strengthened Newly Weds Foods position as a leading supplier of seasoning systems.

In June 2019, Newly Weds® Foods Europe purchased Jigsaw Foods Ltd.,  a leading manufacturer of sauces
and butters.

A network of R&D, manufacturing and service facilities around the globe allows us to serve our customers’ needs in more than 68 countries. But despite our size and scope, we’ve continued to be an independent, family-owned business answerable only to the demands of our customers.
