An Introduction

The business of Newly Weds Foods Limited is to manufacture and market a range of coatings, seasoning  and flavouring ingredients to the food industry.

Originally established in Leeds, 1954, the current headquarters of Newly Weds Foods Limited at Ossett was built in 1989.

Our Ossett factory houses a variety of rusk, breadcrumb and blending production lines, with automated packing and handling. These are so advanced that in our blending department, for example, we process up to 1200 different product lines, switching from one to another as customer demand dictates.

We have one other site in the UK, a fully computerised breadcrumb manufacturing plant in Corby, the most advanced plant of its kind. From these centres, we are capable of servicing the entire food industry throughout the UK and Europe.

We also manufacture a range of high quality breadcrumbs at our Helmond plant in the Netherlands. From here we can supply cost effective solutions to our customers across the whole of Europe.

Newly Weds Foods Limited is a market leader in food ingredients and food technology. We manufacture over 1000 different ingredients which are then used in producing the food we eat in our everyday lives.

We are BS EN ISO 9001 approved.

In our Technical Centre at Ossett, we have specialist teams working on all aspects of the ingredient market, such as Meat, Fish and Poultry. Here we can develop our own products, or those of our customers, whether it is a subtle change to an existing seasoning, or a totally new concept in food coating.

We have a specialist Technical Information team, which handles the increasing demand for product enquiries, such as nutritional, GM issues and much more.
